After you choose your art style, upload a picture of your child to our Character Creator tool. Our AI technology will illustrate a character based on the image, and then prompt you to make edits and additional personalization. Now, your child won’t just imagine themselves in the story—they’ll be able to see themselves on every page.

In just a matter of minutes, an editable version of your story and its personalized character will be ready for review. Our easy-to-use story builder offers an intuitive way to add details and plot points tailored to your creative purposes. Choose from a variety of AI-generated illustrations for each page, add new characters, and edit images using our helpful prompts.

What are illustrations when I purchase a plan?

When you purchase a plan from Build My Story, the illustrations included, per story, allow you to customize the visual aspects of the stories you create. Specifically, the plans provide options to add and edit images in your stories, which helps personalize the experience. Depending on the subscription level, you can create stories with up to 32 pages, including both text and illustrations. The “Premium” and “Standard” plans offer more advanced customization, including tools for image and text editing

How long does delivery take?

The printing of the book takes up to 3 business days, and you will receive a confirmation once your book is out for shipping. Shipping takes approximately 5 and 7 business days.

Can I preview my personalized story before ordering the physical book?

Yes, you are able to preview the book in your library or ‘Book Builder’ screen before printing the physical copy.

How does the AI personalization work?

We are utilizing AI to generate the content. As more solutions will come online we will be trialing them out to ensure the highest quality output.
